In his third film Jailhouse Rock. During the sessions for this movie, coauthors Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller had taken over the producer seat. Elvis didn't care, but the Colonel and Hill & Range Publishing got nervous with their song filter detoured. New songs could reach the King without passing through their hands first.

Some of the covers as You're So Square (Baby I Don't Care). Took Elvis many takes to nail, mainly because of Bill Black struggling with a new (electric) Fender bass instead of his familiar acoustic double bass. Finally Elvis played the bass part himself.
