In Alan Lomax's radio series Folk School In The Air (CBS). Melody based upon The Ballad Of Billy The Kid, written by Rev. Andrew Jenkins, cut and popularized by Vernon Dalhart ('27). Woody recut it for Victor as Dusty Old Dust and re-adjusted the lyrics during the war years.
