Following his Shirelles hit Baby It's You, Scepter label boss Florence Greenberg craved for more Burt Bacharach stuff. She received the demo of It's Love That Really Counts, rejected it at first, but liked the voice. That's how Dionne Warwick came under contract with Scepter. Her original demo appeared on her Scepter debut album Presenting Dionne Warwick ('63).
