MAKE IT EASY ON YOURSELF

Latest update on 18/04/2014

Artist: Jerry Butler

The Isley Brothers were supposed to cut this track first. But they messed with the lyrics (turning it into Are You Lonely By Yourself as heard on Ace cd Shout And Twist With Rudolph, Ronald & O'Kelly). When Burt Bacharach found out he objected. With twenty minutes of studio time left, The Isleys recorded Twist And Shout, changing course and securing their destiny.
