Artist: Johann Sebastian Bach

Anna Magdalena was Bach's second wife and survived him in poverty. This menuet was an anonymous piece when it entered said Notenbüch. In the 1970s it finally was identified as coming from a harpsichord suite composed by organist Christian Petzold from Dresden (1677-1733).
Covers:
Toys [as A Lover's Concerto]
Sandra Reemer [as Mijn Concert]
Horst Jankowski [all as A Lover's Concerto]
Giorgio Moroder [as The Duel on soundtrack Electric Dreams]
Petzold's menuet loops permanently out of the magic mushrooms in the fairy tale forest at the Efteling theme park (Noord Brabant - The Netherlands).
