Year: 1725
Anna Magdalena was Bach's second wife and survived him in poverty. This menuet was an anonymous piece when it entered said Notenbüch. In the 1970s it finally was identified as coming from a harpsichord suite composed by organist Christian Petzold from Dresden (1677-1733).
