Van Morrison [bass, rhythm guitar and overall groove in Moondance]
Moondance in The Originals, as if there's ever been someone else's but Van. There are a few elements to feed this presumption: the bass line, rhythm guitar and even the whole groove of Moondance follows Kenny Burrell's in his Blue Note instrumental Midnight Blue. All Van adds to this mute blue night is the moonshine. Kenny Burrell's guitar rhythm groove throughout the whole track had it's own example in Johnny Lytle's vibraphone part in Selim ('66).
