Ook in film Baseball uit 1994. Tin Pan Alley wals door Norworth geschreven nadat hij in de New Yorkse metro reclame zag voor honkbal, iets waar hij zelf nooit naartoe ging of zou gaan. Ook coauteur Albert Von Tilzer niet trouwens (broer van Harry). In 1927 volgde een nieuwe versie met andere tekst maar het refrein bleef hetzelfde en groeide uit tot onofficiële hymne van Baseball tout court. Dat refrein wordt spontaan aangeheven tijdens de zevende inning van iedere game.
