In folk play Bleeke Bet. Covered by all Jordaan singers as O, Mooie Westertoren, the only tower Anne Frank could see from her ceiling window. Davids, who was born in Rotterdam, wrote more songs about Amsterdam: In De Jordaan, Omdat Ik Van Mokum Hou and Nou Tabé Dan. He never cut his own ode to one of the most recognizable churches in town.
