SWEET ANGEL

Created on 17/10/2000

Artist: Jimi Hendrix
Author: Jimi Hendrix
Label: Polydor
Year: 1967

Just Jimi and a primitive rhythm box. First tried out with Mitch Mitchell during the Axis: Bold As Love sessions under the confusing working title Little Wing. A damaged version as Sweet Angel is to be heard on cd South Saturn Delta ('97), a restored one (by Mitch Mitchell) on the 4cd collection The Jimi Hendrix Experience ('00) and on his West Coast Seattle Boy box set there's a '68 version recorded in a NYC hotel room.
