Artist: Blind Joe Reynolds
Author: Joe Sheppard
Label: Paramount
Year: 1929

Only two singles released plus one as Blind Willie Reynolds in 1930. He had a bad temper and a criminal record. Always carried a gun even after he was blinded in a mid 20s fire fight. His real name was Joe Sheppard but he used his alias to keep the law out. Outlived both Cream and Hendrix covers. Died in '68.

Melody (apart from the guitar riff) borrowed from Ida Cox's Fore Day Creep (Paramount - '27), which she recut for Vocalion as Four Day Creep. Humble Pie's Four Day Creep, credited to Ida, is a different song. The riff's the same as the one in Son House's Low Down Dirty Dog Blues (see there).
