At the Big Sur Festival, one month after Woodstock. There's footage of her trying to teach this complicated song to the crowd in film Celebration At Big Sur, made by Baird Bryant & Johanna Demetrakas and released in 1971. Joni missed Woodstock. She got stuck in the traffic jam, went back to her New York hotel room and wrote this song watching tv showing helicopter overviews of the chaos.
