Artist: Carter Family
Author: A.P. Carter
Label: Victor
Year: 1928

During the same session as Little Darling Pal Of Mine and Keep On The Sunny Side. Recorded only a few months after being discovered by Ralph Peer during the Bristol Sessions. Top 3 US. These lyrics and probably the tune as well, come in great part from the nineteenth century song I'll Twine 'Mid The Ringlets (Joseph Webster/Maud Irving - 1859). Such repertoire was unheard of by the American public when the Carters introduced it. Went up to n°3 US (there were no C&W charts yet).
