Jazzy interpretor of hits of the day and soundtrack favorites, regularly compiled, along with own ditties. One such album holds themes from Brasilian cult film Orfeu Negro: Jazz Impressions Of Black Orpheus. Along with his vision on some Antonio Carlos Jobim tunes and a version of Moon River, the album holds a few of his own compositions, not even mentioned in Ralph Gleason's sleeve notes, and one of these own songs was this original.
Covers:
Sounds Orchestral [cocktail party classic; top 5 UK, top 10 US; with Johnny Pearson on piano]
Marianne Mille [as Ne tremble pas mon pauvre coeur]
Dave Stewart & Barbara Gaskin [in medley with Louie Louie]
Vince Guaraldi also wrote the music for the Charlie Brown tv-series.
