From his opera Il Barbiere Di Siviglia. Libretto: Cesare Sterbini. Based upon Pierre de Beaumarchais' comedy Le Barbier de Séville from 1775. First staged in Teatro Argentina in Rome under the title Almaviva Ossia L'inutil Precauzione, a fiasco. That's when the title was changed.
