Artist: Manfred Padinger
Author: Manfred Padinger/Fritz Schicho/Walter Schachner
Label: Welcome Sound
Year: 1989
In Tonstudio Welcome Sound. Three Austrian, not even from Tirol but from Steiermark, wrote it ten years prior to the international après-ski hit. First aired as a contender in a local Grand Prix der Volksmusik. The authors only secured their creation in Austria. All the Bierhallen karaoke Euros ended up in DJ Ötzi's lederhosen pockets.
Covers:
Walter Schachner [coauthor; on cd Hol de ladio]
Harry Schagerl [wasserstoffblond Austrian Chippendale, claiming to be the original Anton aus Tirol, much against the real author's liking]
DJ Ötzi [alias Gernot Friedle as Anton aus Tirol; worldwide après-ski hit]
Antonia feat. Sandra [answer song as Ich bin viel schöner]
Dik Voor Mekaar [alias André van Duin as Pim Fortuyn; first aired in TROS-radio De Dik Voor Mekaar Show, one month before Pim got murdered]
The first performer didn't sue DJ Ötzi. After all, it was he who really started this avalanche.
