Vocal: Earl Nelson (of later Bob & Earl fame). Coauthor Robert Byrd was the leader of the group (not to be confused with Bobby Byrd of the Famous Flames) and had a solo career as Bobby Day (see: Over And Over and Little Bitty Pretty One). Ebb was Leonora Rupe's label. She was the ex of Specialty label boss Art Rupe. The rupture landed her the Ebb label for alimony. Buzz Buzz Buzz was the only national hit on Ebb.
