In musical No No Nanette. The story goes lyricist Irving Caesar had spend a whole day with composer Vincent Youmans working on new songs and fell asleep. Youmans, who'd found a new tune, needed some words immediately. "Can't they wait until tomorrow?" No they couldn't. So Caesar gave him some nonsense lyric lines that he thought wouldn't survive the morning after but they challenge posterity instead.
