The Great Society was couple Grace & Jeff Slick's first band. Darby was his brother and guitarist of the band. Later she (and her brother-in-law's song) switched over to The Jefferson Airplane where she replaced a highly pregnant Signe Anderson (see also: White Rabbit). North Beach was a sublabel of Autumn. Someone To Love was also the title of the reissue cd, subtitled The Birth Of The San Francisco Sound in the series Nuggets From The Golden State, along with the original of Let's Get Together (see there).
