With the Victor Young orch. in musical Diamond Horseshoe (with Betty Grable), stacked with Warren/Gordon songs. Dick Haymes was a bariton crooner who in '39 replaced Frank Sinatra in Harry James' orchestra. Later he replaced that same Sinatra in Tommy Dorsey's orchestra and, again like Sinatra, went solo.
