"The kid from Maine", the first singer to be called a crooner and the first to cause mass hysteria amongst his (female) fans. Later that year, this song was interpolated in the musical comedy Everybody's Welcome, where it was sung by Frances Williams. Rudy's original was reissued in the slipstream of the movie Casablanca in '42 and then became a n°1 US.
