Artist: Tim Hardin
Author: Tim Hardin
Label: Verve Folkways
Year: 1966

The original recording was made in '62 and lacks a violin arrangement. All of his best work was written in a rush (late '65, early '66) while living in a room with a piano in Lenny Bruce's L.A. house. (see also: Eulogy To Lenny Bruce). Tim feigned to be a relative of 19th century outlaw John Wesley Hardin.
