Artist: Diane & Annita
Author: Toni Wine/Carole Bayer Sager
Label: Wand
Year: 1965

Reissued on the Ace cd Where The Girls Are Vol. 2. Was also written by two women: Toni Wine (Mrs. Chips Moman) was one of the Archies (Sugar Sugar) and wrote Black Pearl for Sonny Charles & The Checkmates. Coauthor Carole Bayer Sager (Mrs. Burt Bacharach) wrote It's The Falling In Love, That's What Friends Are For, When I Need You and You're Moving Out Today (see there). Diane & Annita is probably an alias for both of these songwriters.

Sounds a bit like the Sonatine In G by Italian composer Muzio Clementi (1752-1832), the Rondo more precisely. That sonatine is featured all over in any piano playing instruction book, that of the young misses Sagar and Wine included.
