On Good Old Boys. Song about Huey P. Long who was governor of the state Louisiana between 1928 and '32. Lyricline Every Man A King was the title of his self-written campaign song, also of his autobiography and another track on Good Old Boys. The Huey P. Long bridge near New Orleans over the Mississippi was just one of the more than a hundred he ordered to be build (to fight the Depression). His legendary status was fixed when he was murdered in 1935.
