Melody based on a Spanish tune, all the rest is Belgian. Leo Caerts was the former conductor of the Will Tura orchestra, produced the first two lp's of Belgium punk pioneers The Kids and wrote some 400 songs before this one. Decades later still a million E Viva España's are sold every year.
