New Zealand sea shanty on comp Song Of A Young Country, released in the eponymous folk songbook by Neil Colquhoun, who collected a version by F.R. Woods in Auckland, NZ in 1966, then in his eighties. Wellermen were sailing ships from the Weller Company of Sydney. They specialized in providing tobacco, sugar, thee and rum to whalers at sea since 1833.
