Coauthor Luciano Manente accused the Belgian Eurovision Song Contest entry '92 but his case was dismissed for procedure matters. Manente who was the writer of another preselection song, reacted as a bad loser. Still, accused author Claude Barzoti changed four notes of Nous on veut des violons, even before the actual song contest began (in Malmö), avoiding all plagiarism accusations but risking disqualification.
