Artist: Regino Sainz de la Maza
Author: Joaquin Rodrigo
Label: Columbia
Year: 1948
On guitar with the Orchestra Nacional de España with Ataulfo Argenta conducting. First performed in Barcelona in 1940 with the same guitarist and the Orquesta Filarmonica de Barcelona with César Mendoza Lasalle conducting. Many performers were not aware the concerto (in three parts - the Adagio is the middle one) is not older than 1938. Rodrigo missed out on a lot of royalties that way.
