Siblings from a singing family in Reutte (Tirol) in Austrian heimat film Sag Ja Mutti, in Germany re-titled Die Singenden Engel von Tirol. Heidschi Bumbeidschi was one of the working titles. Traditional lullaby from Austria/Bohemia, where Haidi Bubaidi means Sleep Baby Sleep. The baby in the film was 13 year old Christine Kaufmann, who married Tony Curtis in Hollywood, launched her own line of cosmetics and became known as 'Germany's most beautiful granny'. Oldest written trace: as Aba Heitschi Bumpeitschi schlaf lange in Austrian songbook Fahrend Volk (1927). For the oldest publication, see Oesterreichische Volkslieder mit ihren Singeweisen by Franz Ziska and Julius Max Schottky in 1819, where it's named Haidt Bubaidl in guada Nuá (Wiegenlieder).
