In Hebrew. Miron (real name: Michrovsky), wrote this in '42 while in the Palestinian Brigade, part of the British Army. Julius Grossman wrote a new version in 1947. On May 14th 1948 (birth of the Israelian State) it was played as the first song on the (no longer clandestine) Israelian radio station.
