Artist: Eugene Church & The Fellows
Author: Eugene Church/Tommy Williams
Label: Class
Year: 1958

This Texan in L.A. had a hit in '56 with The Girl In My Dreams in duet with Jesse Belvin. He kept his day job for security reasons, until two years later he had another hit with a girl song. Jesse Belvin was again one of his Fellows plus Buster Williams, Richard Berry and a few Blossoms. After his singing career Eugene started a chain of beauty salons. In '93 he died of AIDS, so he probably couldn't care less about all these pretty girls everywhere anyway. Class was one of Leon René's labels.
