Artist: Changin' Times
Author: Steve Duboff/Artie Kornfeld
Label: Philips
Year: 1965
Brill Building songwriting duo Artie Kornfeld and Steve Duboff. They also cowrote Deadman's Curve. Dylanesk version or even a parody. An ugly peek inside Brill Building turtle neck's psyches versus the Dylan phenomenon, winding a whole new generation around his finger like a real Pied Piper does. The times really were a-changin' out there, which reflects in their chosen band name. Reissued on cd Before They Were Hits or We Did It First Vol. 2 (Triple Crown).
Covers:
Jets [Dutch band, also prior to Crispian St. Peters]
Crispian St. Peters [n°2 NL & B]
Gianni Pettenati [as Bandiera Gialla; hit It]
Sultants [as Apprends à vivre]
Not to be confused with Billy Williams' song ('57). Also Spanish versions as La Gaita.
