Real prisoners doing time at the Tennessee State Prison in Nashville when this recording took place at Sun in Memphis, handcuffed and under surveillance (payed by Sam Phillips - It wasn't right for the taxpayers to pay for this folly). Writer Johnny Bragg got his royalties (including those on Johnny Ray's hit version) the day he came free (in '59). That's the same Johnny Bragg claiming he sold Hank Williams the idea for Your Cheating Heart.
