Members of Peg Leg Howell's Gang, an amputee who worked for coins in the streets of Atlanta, GA. Eddie Anthony was also known as Macon Ed. Reissued on The Story Of The Blues, the classic Columbia double album, illustrating Paul Oliver's book of the same name.

Variation on the instrumental Georgia Grind, originally by Jimmy Blythe ('26), also cut by Louis Armstrong's Hot Five and Duke Ellington's Washingtonians ('26). One of the original performers, Henry Williams or Eddie Anthony, sings grind instead of crawl at a certain moment.
