Part of ballet El Amor Brujo ((The Enchanting Love), written for flamenco gypsy dancer Pastora Imperio and created in a chamber orchestra setting at the Teatro Lara in Madrid in April 1915, without success. A shorter version was performed by the Symphonio orchestra of Madrid in 1916. In 1924 re-created as a one-act ballet. English translation of this part: Song Of The Will-o'-the-Wisp. Most important Spanish composer of the early 20th century.
