British journalist by the name of Bickford, who cut this (with the author's Orchestra) to prove that anyone could be a pop star. His experiment failed, but the song became a big hit elsewhere. Blackwell also wrote Come Outside (n°1 UK) for Mike Sarne and music for the film What's New Pussycat.
