About an interracial romance, written when she was 15. More than 20 record companies declined this song and so did most of the radio stations. Finally Leonard Bernstein gave it an audience through his tv-show Inside Pop: A Rock Revolution. Nasty phone calls, bomb warnings and enveloppes with razor blades tried to keep this song off miss Ian's setlists.
