The second song Pat & Garth ever wrote; that was even prior to the latter's own recording contract. While they shopped the song around only Tanya Tucker gave it a try (for her Capitol album Tennessee Woman), but that particular cut was shelved. Then Garth got his own deal with Capitol and the rest is history. Tanya's own (oldest) version, cut in '89, finally surfaced on her cd box set Tanya Tucker in '95.
