Not about the baseball legend but the candy bar. Since Baby Ruth's weren't shipped overseas, George Hamilton re-recorded it as A Rose And A Candy Bar for the English market. Shortly after the release of the original, Colonial Records was sued by the manufacturers of Baby Ruth Candy Bars..., until they realized the hit helped sell considerably.
