Agustin Lara was the Mexican Hoagy Carmichael; he also wrote Granada and Solamente Un Vez, which became famous in the States as You Belong To My Heart. In 1966 he obtained Spanish nationality (Franco was a fan). He also wrote an Amor De Mis Amores that had nothing in common with Piaf's La Foule (see: Que Nadie Sepa Mi Sufrir).
