Peter Kennedy en Maud Karpeles namen in de 1950s een versie op van Albert Beale in Kent, uit op You Never Heard It So Sweet in de Voice of the People-serie in 2011. Cecil Sharp hoorde een versie door Albert's zus Alice Harden in 1911 en van diens vader James Beale in 1908, opgenomen in Steve Roud's folk compendium Still Growing - English Traditional Songs and Singers from the Cecil Sharp Collection (2003).
