Tony Hatch wrote Downtown (see there) and Don't Sleep In The Subway, also two hits for Petula Clark. His wife Jackie Trent had a n°1 UK in '65 with Where Are You Now (My Love) written by herself and Tony. He composed the ITV soap opera Crossroads ('64), covered by Paul McCartney on his lp Venus And Mars ('75). The theme of Australian soap Neighbours is also Tony's work.
