The melody line is strongly related with Andrés Berlanga's ranchera Las Quejas De Zenaida, an answer song on Zenaida (Los Madrugadores). Berlanga's career began in the thirties in San Antonio, using the same hotel room where Robert Johnson cut his famous recordings.
