Artist: Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Author: Neil Young
Label: Reprise
Year: 1970

Live At The Fillmore East, featuring Danny Whitten and Jack Nitzsche. Announced as: "This is a song of our new album, when we're recording it". Might have ending up on After The Goldrush but shelved for the Decade album ('77). During that same Fillmore East set, the oldest Come On Baby Let's Go Downtown was nailed (see: Downtown) and the earliest Wanderin', officially saved up for Neil's rockabilly excursion Everybody's Rockin'. See also: Trambone.

Covers:

1990:

Pixies [on The Bridge tribute]

1999:

Lee Ranaldo [on This Note's For You Too tribute]

On the Neil Young Archive cd Sugar Mountain: Live At Canterbury House 1968, there's an (aborted) attempt playing the intro of this song, before changing his mind and switching to Out Of My Mind. That was probably all he had of this 'new song'.
