Austrian composer who, like so many Jews, ended up in Hollywood in the thirties. Title theme of a film with Ronald Reagan, Star Wars fixated ever since. This theme was played during his inauguration ceremony in 1980.

John Williams was asked by Star Wars director George Lucas to compose a fitting theme in the style of adventure film composer Korngold (Robin Hood, The Sea Hawk, King's Row). Williams' theme wasn't exactly King's Row but close. The complete King's Row soundtrack was re-issued on Varèse/Sarabande.
