The Clash bassist Paul Simenon sued Beats International for stealing his bass line from The Guns Of Brixton (London Calling lp) in Dub Be Good To Me (settled out of court). De La Soul was also grossly overlooked: hear this same bass line in their The Magic Number (see also: Three Is A Magic Number). The Ennio Morricone samples in Dub Be Good To Me come from L'Uomo Dell' Armonica from Once Upon A Time In The West ('69), used by Mark Knopfler for the title of a Dire Straits song.
