Artist: Moloch
Author: Don Nix
Label: National
Year: 1970

Band from Memphis; production, arrangements, engineering, album design: Don Nix. The bass line is copied from the one in Slim Jenkins' Place, the B-side of Booker T & The MG's Groovin' ('67). Don once played sax in an early Mar-Keys line-up. The lyric line 'Got my big feet in the window, got my mind down the ground' is autobiographical: Don Nix once fell from the second floor down down down down down without breaking anything. This pre metal bluesrocker was the natural consequence. National was a subdivision of Stax, when Stax lost its free-spirited independence as part of Paramount Pictures. Reissued on P-Vine Japan.
