Artist: Vaughn Monroe
Author: Tom Glazer
Label: RCA
Year: 1951

Title inspired by a Congress speech by Gen. Douglas McArthur (released on Victor).

British WW I soldiers sang the title to the melody of Kind Words Can Never Die (Abby Patton - 1851) instead of the line 'our souls can never die'; as such first recorded by Gracie Fields (Rex - 1935) in a medley.
