Writer from Vermont. Poem he wrote in Salt Lake City in 1984, inspired by one of his friends' catchphrases: "All I want is to have a little fun before I die". Published in his collection The Country Of Here Below, picked up by Sheryl's ex boyfriend Kevin Gilbert and her producer Bill Bottrell when a mere 500 copies were sold. When Wyn was asked for permission to use most of the poem as song lyrics, he was so honoured inspiring someone else with his writing he couldn't refuse. Then royalties started rolling in and he didn't even have to work any longer. He's been reported reading his own poem during a series of Sheryl Crow shows.
