| | Mexican waltz; Sobre Las Olas means Over The Waves. Author Rosas was of Otomi Indian descent. Original title: A La Orilla Del Sanz (On The Banks Of The Sanz), a Mexican river. Rosas sold his rights for no money and died poor in Cuba. Still, his remains were re-buried with honor in the Rotonda de los Hombres Ilustres in Mexico City. |
