 Vocal: Anita O'Day. Written by two southern boys. Hoagy first came up with this leitmotiv while sketching out some tunes for Young Man With A Horn, a planned Broadway musical around the life and times of his dear late friend and cornetist Bix Beiderbecke. Working title of that theme was Bix Lix ('39).
